My Background
Lifecoaching for me is the culmination of sixteen years of both professional work and personal development during which I have managed a tremendous amount of change in my life.
I have come to lifecoaching through ten years of psychotherapeutic training. I am a qualified and accredited
counsellor, psychotherapist and psychosexual psychotherapist and have had a very successful career working as a therapist in both NHS and private settings.
However recently I felt that my work needed to expand out of the therapeutic field. I wanted to add a richer dimension and work with people in a different way.
As a graduate of one of the leading life coaching training organisations, I feel excited and enthusiastic about lifecoaching. For me it is a natural progression of my professional life to become and work as a lifecoach.
As a coach I use all the skills, techniques and intuition I have learned during my life. However I believe my main coaching skills are the energy, empathy and enthusiasm that I bring to the coaching relationship. I have a strong sense of intuition and the ability to listen well to the spoken and unspoken word.
On a personal level I have had to change my life and lifestyle several times, and as someone who hates change it has sometimes been difficult. I have lived in Italy, France and the Caribbean but am now firmly and happily ensconced in my loft apartment in Battersea, near the river.
